Partnership Information

Opencontainer’s partnership program is not a commercial arrangement intended solely for advertising, banner placement, or logo exposure.

Opencontainer is a professional knowledge platform operated to help reduce accident risks within the container transport chain and support safer decision-making by industry practitioners.

The safety of the container transport chain depends on the shared awareness and responsible actions of all parties involved, including carriers, freight forwarders, terminal operators, CFS operators, packing and lashing companies, tallying, inspection and weighing service providers, inland transport companies, and cargo owners.

A partnership with Opencontainer represents a cooperative relationship with companies and organizations that share this perspective and wish to contribute, from their respective positions, to container transport safety and the sharing of practical knowledge.

Through partnerships, Opencontainer aims to objectively collect, organize, and share knowledge and experience that are genuinely useful in the field, rather than prioritizing the promotional interests of any particular company.

1. Meaning of Partnership and Forms of Cooperation

The partnership pursued by Opencontainer is not intended as simple corporate promotion. Its purpose is to jointly build technical knowledge and practical experience that are needed in the field.
Forms of cooperation may include:

  1. Technical contributions related to OOG Cargo, Break Bulk, Lashing, Packing, and related fields
  2. Provision of publicly shareable practical information, such as terminal operating information, cargo handling standards, and equipment limitations
  3. Joint development of practical guides, checklists, training materials, and accident prevention content
  4. Provision of data, review, and feedback for building an AI/RAG-based maritime and logistics knowledge base
  5. Reasonable and transparent forms of cooperation, including sponsorship, to support the sustainable operation of Opencontainer

All partnership proposals are reviewed based on their contribution to container transport safety, usefulness of technical knowledge, content independence, and practical reliability.
Regardless of whether a partnership is established, all Opencontainer content is prepared based on international standards, actual accident cases, and technical review. Opencontainer does not represent the position or interests of any specific stakeholder.

Where cooperation includes sponsorship, such support is intended to contribute to the sustainable operation of the platform and the creation of professional content. It does not represent the interests of any specific partner and does not influence Opencontainer’s technical judgment, safety interpretation, or risk assessment.
Opencontainer places the objectivity and independence of its content as the highest priority in all partnerships.

2. Expected Value of Partnership

Companies and organizations participating in Opencontainer’s partnership program may demonstrate their commitment to container transport safety and practical knowledge sharing, while also making use of Opencontainer’s knowledge base for practical work and training.
Key expected values include:

  1. Demonstrating corporate responsibility and interest in container transport safety and special cargo risk reduction
  2. Using practical materials on OOG Cargo, Break Bulk, Lashing, Packing, and related topics for internal staff training and OJT
  3. Securing objective reference materials for customers, cargo owners, business partners, and overseas counterparts
  4. Using Opencontainer content as reference material for ESG management and safety management activities
  5. Being introduced as an official partner on the Opencontainer partnership page and related sections
  6. Participating in the development of an AI/RAG-based maritime and logistics knowledge platform
