Opencontainer OJT Overview
“You can outsource your thinking but you cannot outsource your understanding.”
— kache (@yacineMTB)
The guides and case studies published on this website are the results of thinking built upon the accumulated experience and judgment of many shipping professionals.
These materials allow users to quickly find the standards and answers they need. However, without understanding the reasons and context behind them, it may be difficult to make independent decisions when faced with a new situation.
Opencontainer OJT was created to transform the published thinking into each practitioner’s own understanding.
The courses are designed around situations similar to actual shipping operations. Participants are encouraged to find relevant information, identify potential risks, and make their own decisions so that knowledge can be developed into practical skills applicable in the workplace.
The purpose of this OJT is not simply to help practitioners learn the correct answers, but to help them understand the reasons behind those answers and make safer, more accurate decisions.

OpenContainer uses an external digital credential service to issue and verify certificates.
Through this service, certificates are issued and stored online, and their issuance records and authenticity can be verified.
The issuance fee includes the cost of using the external service, maintaining completion records, verifying authenticity, and providing reissuance support.
Applying for a certificate is entirely optional. Participants who do not apply will have no restrictions or disadvantages when accessing the learning content or taking the final assessment.
